Surviving Shakespeare Ever seen a play that really brings Shakespeare to life? The survival of The People's Theatre is under threat; owner/director, Ryan Seaborne (38), whose devoted dedication to the theatre has waned along with its profitability, stumbles upon an aged 'Complete works of Shakespeare' in the bowels of the building, and discovers that he's able to conjure any character from any of the plays into being. Hitting on an idea to save the theatre and his relationship, he calls into life a cross-section of Shakespeare's characters. It's only when he creates Lady MacBeth that he realises he's bitten off way more than he can chew. Script available for option. Drop me a line if you want to read the script. |
